I was going to post my blog in the forums, but I've brought it back over here mostly because I can edit and add to it throughout the day. For forum posts, I can only edit for 15 minutes after posting, so this kind of works out better for me. Having a running blog that I can edit throughout the day is helping me keep really focused by logging in and writing down what I'm doing at different times throughout the day... and focus is definitely what I need right now.

I've already posted my YRG in the forums, so the rest of my day will just be a food log.

Breakfast: whey protein smoothie w/skim milk, fat free plain yogurt, and flax seeds; cherry tomatoes; coffee w/skim milk & Splenda

Lunch: burrito in a bowl from The Red Burrito (a real kick ass mexican place in my neighborhood)... really fresh: chicken, black beans, salsa, hot sauce, veggies, guacamole, and sour cream; cucumber; raw almonds

Dinner: 1 & 1/2 organic turkey smokies, homemade salsa & guacamole, cucumber; acai berry tea w/Splenda

Working back through the YRG radio archive. Today was Aug 12. I really enjoyed that Dallas and Doug talked about working around injuries... something that comes up for me. Too often, I get into an "all or nothing" mentality... that if I can't do the workout as it is in the book, then I just won't do it at all. If my knee acts up on me in the future (and it will), it's good to have some ideas on how to sub other positions for ones that are aggravating the injury. Good show guys... thanks!

Once again, great show. If I'm going to have any success at this, I have to be ready to be creative and still do something beneficial... even if it's something small. Do you find/think your injuries will rehab and get better over time, or is this something you will manage long term?

Thanks for the post!

Paul, I'm still battling wrist injuries as well as back and shoulder. I just work around it. I do Stand Up and RHC or something different that I can still get my workouts in but not add fuel to the fire.

BTW, you know if you do put this in the Forums, you can always add extra items in there or cut and paste, re-add, etc and delete your old stuff. Just food for thought.
