I forgot to mention a little thing the other day. I didn't have any protein thawed out, so I bought a rotisserie chicken from the local Middle Eastern shop. I didn't notice until I got home, but they put a few large pita breads in the bag, and normally I would have just ate them and buried my guilt, but I managed to throw these away instead.
A bit late now but I have barely had time to get on the website but I am still impressed I have managed to keep up with the Yoga despite the poor timetable I have.
Monday- Strength Builder
Tuesday- FB+RHC
Wednesday- rest
Thursday- Strength Builder
Friday- FB+RHC

We gave birth on Friday, and due to some small complications, my wife had a 2 nights stay in hospital. During this time i was allowed to stay with her during the day, but had to return home at night.
In the mornings, before I would go back to hospital I managed to squeeze in a Wake up workout, and it was excellent in getting my mind and body focussed for the long days in hospital.
On Sunday all 3 of us returned home as a family, to spend our first night together at home. It's…

Week 1 focus was learning the ddp diamond dozen and energy. Good workouts. Was able to stay pretty mindful of lactose products and weaning those out of my diet. Almond milk was a great find! Interestingly enough, I found that the more i stayed away from milk the longer my allergic symptoms stayed away. Some of the allergic symptoms I have had for years were feeling a wetness inside my ears (probably mucous accumulation from the lactose) and sneezing.
Down to 264 Sunday and up…

Well, my challenge has been successful thus far and honestly, I am so happy that I KNOW what I have to do and just simply do it. I appreciate the structure and honestly, I do much better with a workout schedule that leaves me feeling ... productive and like I worked out.
That being said, I worked out really late today. Much later than I had really anticipated, but better late than never, right? I seem to have some issues with Diamond Cutter ... I have NO idea why. It left me…

Up at 8am today after going to bed at 11pm last night. I actually woke up at 7am but didn't convince myself to get up until 8. Took my vitamins & anti-inflammatories and drank a pint of water, walked the dogs and got a black coffee (1 mile). Slice of frittata for breakfast at work followed by another 8 oz cup of black coffee and a quart of water. Lunch will be Shepherds Pie and another quart of water. No coffee after noon.
This weekend, I cooked some casseroles for…

I'm a new member to Team DDP, so I would first like to say hello to everyone. A little about myself, I'm the afternoon dj for Northeast Pennsylvania's number one radio station, Froggy 101, I go by Crockett, so if you are ever in the area, call the station and give me a shout.
I started DDP Yoga to get myself back into shape. Back in 2004, I was a high school wrestler, and in great shape, had a scholarship to college, but a kidney surgery after season, some what changed my outlook…

So my groin pull kept me mostly in bed for a while and that's cool...that's what it was. Today I felt better and by god I was going to do Energy today...and I did...and it was challenging, but that's good. It felt so good to complete it....sh** there were moments when my mind said STOP THIS and luckily I didn't listen. Thank you DDP. It didn't matter that I was hurt, it mattered that today I DID IT! Once again, thank you for that.

On Friday morning, at 10:16 am, my wife gave birth to a little baby boy. He weighed 6lb 11oz. He was named Hayden and he is brilliant.
The morning before his birth, my wife was bemoaning her bad back, a trouble she had suffered from throughout pregnancy.
Tired of massages, and at 4 days overdue, I suggested we do a very light, very very modified version of the 'Energy' workout. Throughout the day, my wife commented that she felt 'odd' and that evening we were on our way to…

It's Monday again. And once again, I find myself regretting my actions from the hours of 7P.M. on Saturday to 11 P.M. Sunday. In those measly 28 hours, I succeeded in undoing all of my hard work and good eating of the prior 5 days. Saturday it was drinks with old friends from high school. And yesterday it was dinner at our church, which was filled with starchy vegetables, cheesy potatoes, and about 20 different desserts. At least when I did have a dessert, I went for the sugar free. And…

I pushed play on Energy! for the first time in over a week. I feel terrific. I do not have any injuries to report. I intend to repeat this for the next 7 days and I intend to add one or two more DVDs into the mix when time permits.
I wanna own my life.

Hey all!
Week 7 of my program wrapped up yesterday with surprisingly good results. After a week of terrible eating I wasn't expecting good news when I stepped on the scale, but I ended up dropping another two pounds. So I'm 240 on the nose. Those two pounds keeps me right on the pace I'm targeting for myself and I couldn't be happier. Really looking forward to the end of week 8 when I do my measurements again.
We also went to the WSU Cougar basketball…

It's been, seemingly a long time since, the sun has beamed through my windows here. Everything, for the most part, is covered in a thick layer of ice, snow and cold ...brrr ... not my cup of tea at all.
I am a sunshine loving person. I love Vitamin D which should really be no surprise as it is commonly referred to as the "sunshine vitamin" :)
Today is going to be a good day! How do I know that, well ... I guess I don't, but I am setting forth the intention that today is…

What a program!!! I got ddpyoga in the mail yesterday and I started today because I had a wrestling show last night. During the show, as a manager, I took a few hard falls. My back hurt and then early this morning I had a spasm in my left calf. The muscle was tight and I was in considerable amount or pain. Usually, I can just walk the pains off. This time it didn't work. After doing "wake up" and "the diamond dozen," my calf is looser and my back pain has lessened. This is the best!!! I have…

Hey Team DDPYOGA - Here's my latest "Hungry For The Truth" blog. In a nutshell, I'm an emotional eater with a long history of yo-yo dieting. What follows is an excerpt of how I got a handle on it:

Hi, first of all I just would like to say I don't currently own DDPYoga...YET! But it will soon be in my possession because, well, excuse my french but something has to fucking change.
I'm a 31 yeah old mother of 2 (I almost typed 32 in there...) and I have been one of those people that isn't too active but wants to set the goals to do it. My youngest is now 16 months, I'm into my 3rd month of training to be a professional wrestler. For a while I was pushing the 200 pound…

You control you. Yes, there’s 10%. 10% of life that you cannot control, but the 90% … heck … the 90% is on your side. YOU control IT. The 90% is how you react, adapt and breath when the 10% hits.
So, now that you got that, what’s this question that’s the only one you need to answer?
WHAT DO I REALLY WANT?
So, what DO you really want? You control what goes in your body. When you’re picking something…
