After listening to this week's episode of DDP Radio, I did a little bit of research into gluten free alcoholic beverages for the upcoming holiday season. here's a link to a list of a few ideas: …Continue

Ok, first let me clarify that the title of this blog isn't referring so much to time constraints -- the basic YRG workout only takes 20 minutes, and most of us can find that.I've been reading a…Continue

Hey guys, I was wondering how often a yoga mat should be replaced. I've had mine since I started on March 24th, and it seems to be both compressing and losing its gripped texture. In a few places, it…Continue

First, I "stole" this quiche recipe from a show on the Food Network called "Cook Yourself Thin", where the hosts take people's recipes and tweak them to make them healthier ... by using a potato…Continue

I guess there comes a point when we have to just give in and rest ... when passing out on the couch happens twice between 4 and 9 pm, even during one of the most exciting Super Bowl games ever, that's a sure sign that it's time ...
Of course, taking the night to rest means I must break off my Energy Streak after 15 days ...

As I mentioned in a prior blog, I challenged a friend of mine, who is a self-professed chocoholic, to partake in the "One Bite at a Time" challenge to help her kick her chocolate habit. I am nearly through day 3 without eating a chocolate bar.

January 21 is in the books, and so is day 2 of my Energy Streak challenge, and day 3 of One Bite at a Time: Chocolate Bars. I'm pleased with myself for not allowing myself to say "ah, I was up at 4 am and worked all day, forget Energy"
My goal for Energy at this point is to keep my streak going clear up to February 10th. I know I'll have to break it Feb. 11th, as I'm in travel from 3 am PST to 10:45 PM EST, including connectors.By my count, that will set an energy streak…

Since submitting the One Bite at a Time challenge to the Challenge Center, I can proudly say that I have kept my streak of not eating ice cream alive for over 100 days, and have avoided eating nachos or buying a bag of chips for almost a full year ...
The next step starts today, with taking on the challenge of removing chocolate bars ... I don't eat many, but I still feel that the few are too many. Today, January 19, 2012, is Day 1.
The evolution, however, comes…
