New Member Resources

Welcome to Team DDPYOGA!
As a new member here I’m sure you’ve got questions. Team DDPYOGA is probably unlike any other site you’ve ever been a part of. Here, the word “community” says it all. As you’ve already signed up chances are you’ve been welcomed by several members already. No matter what issue that you’re having chances are someone is going to be here to help you, fitness related or not.

With that said, sometimes users do have questions that can’t be answered here, in that case feel free to email Robert@Dallaspage.com with any questions that you have.

Getting started: Pictures and Measurements.

The importance of taking your pictures and measurements cannot be understated. If you are embarrassed by your pictures, don’t be. You’ve just joined a community full of people that have been exactly where you are now. Taking the pictures does not mean that you have to share them, if you would prefer not to post them on the site then keep them to yourself, but TAKE THEM! This is invaluable. You can’t know where you’re going if you don’t know where you’ve been. Although you may be ashamed of them now, with hard work and dedication the day will come when you will happily share the “old” you to contrast the “new” you and how far you’ve come.  You can find those instructions on how to take your pictures and measurements here: http://www.teamyrg.com/profiles/blogs/join-team-yrg

Getting started: The Heart Monitor.

You can’t properly fix a car without using the right tools. The Heart Monitor will become one of the major tools in your toolbox and also your secret weapon. Staying in your target zone will not only make sure that you’re not working too hard (or not hard enough) but it is also the optimal way to burn fat and get the best results possible. A lot of people have questions on using the heart monitor, this video explains many of them.

Getting started: Living life at 90%.

You may feel that you need a little inspiration. We all do from time to time. Dallas, among other things is also an Inspirational Speaker and teaches the merits of Living Life at 90%. This is a valuable technique of perspective and a way to look at things that will help you adjust the way that you react to changes and challenges that life throws at you.

IT's been almost six week ago I started DDPYOGA. Sunday I will be taken my six week pictures. I have lost 19.2 lbs in less the six weeks. my goal for this past week was to break the 190s. We will see if I hit it tomorrow. Weather I make my weight goal or not I am stronger then ever in my life.
