Hello there Team DDPYoga!
My name is Owen (nickname Yorkie), 20 years young & from the U.K. I'm sure like many of you here, I probably wouldn't be aware of this if I wasn't a wrestling fan since the early 90's. I've known about "YRG" for a while, but never did anything about it. During the end of last year I stumbled on the video of Arthur, and it just inspired the hell out of me. He is what got me into a serious interest about starting DDP Yoga (and getting a message from Dallas himself about a week ago).
I've not really had an issue with my weight before, I've gone through circles of being thin, then chubby, and vice versa. But there was a photo of myself taken Christmas / New Years, and I thought to myself I really need to change my lifestyle.
I'm not a stranger to exercise, I try to do as much cardio as I can in my spare time, play football (soccer) whenever I get the opportunity. But my diet on the other hand, not so good... I drink alot of Pepsi / Cola. And I party alot, especially over the past 2 years, which is probably the main cause of me putting on weight.
Starting tomorrow, I will begin DDPYoga. I currently have package 1, and plan to follow the diet and excercise plan, thus cutting out all sodas, snacks etc. I don't plan on giving up alcohol, but I'm only going out once a week, and I will be cutting down.
And as extra motivation I have put a wager on to see who will lose a stone (14 lbs) the quickest.
My current weight is 12.5 stone, and my goal is 11 stone.
